Grant Description

On August 25, 2022, China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) donated PKR 600,000 to the government of Pakistan through the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association to support the government's flood relief work.

This donation was part of a larger effort by the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association (APCEA) to raise funds for the Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund.

In total, APCEA raised PKR 15,508,420 from various state-owned and private-sector entities operating in Pakistan (Umbrella Record ID#102726).

The funds were handed over to the Pakistani National Disaster Management Authority during a handover ceremony on August 25, 2022.

(captured in Record ID#103127), Huaneng Shandong Ruyi (Pakistan) Energy Ltd. (captured in Record ID#103128).

Non-state donors include United Energy Pakistan Limited, Hilong Oil Service Co., and other unspecified Chinese companies.

CSCEC also organized free medical clinics (captured in Record ID#100014), donated food packs to 800 local victims (captured in Record ID#100013), and later donated another PKR 10 million in supplies and funds (captured in Record ID#100231).
