Grant Description

ACILS aims to strengthen the cooperation and coordination between key stakeholders, including governments, NGOs and trade unions, in South Asian countries of origin (India and Sri Lanka) and Gulf countries of destination (Bahrain and Qatar) to combat human trafficking.

ACILS will build the capacity of trade unions, NGOs, community organizations, and government officials to: increase awareness of the danger signs of trafficking and ways to reduce the vulnerability of high-risk groups; provide protection services to trafficking victims, and increase coordination among service providers, diplomatic missions, and law enforcement officials.
